Celebrate the Lunar New Year at the OC Fair Grounds this month. The Têt Festival is the largest in the world and attracts over 60,000 guests including hundreds vendors all weekend long. Enter the Phở eating contest, watch the Miss Vietnam of Southern California pageant, enter the Talent Show Competition or shop and eat your way through all of the booths. Entering it’s 35th of celebration, Têt Festival volunteers contribute thousands of hours planning and organizing in order to help bring the festival to life.

Nonprofit Community Service Programs (CSP) will play host to wine lovers and humanitarians during its “Love Grows by Giving” Wine Tasting fundraiser to benefit CSP’s Huntington Beach Youth Shelter, a safe haven for homeless, runaway, abused and at-risk youth. The event will feature an evening of unique wines, wine education, food pairings from local fine dining restaurants, beer samplings, live music and more. Orange County’s only professional boxing and professional mixed martial arts show is coming for one night at the Orange County Fair Grounds. Fight Club OC fans will see 8-1 super featherweight Bekman Soylybaev defend his NABA US belt; and 7-0 Ruslan Madivey who is trained by Abel Sanchez will be back in action. It will be an Orange County matchup when Anaheim’s Carlos Gonzalez faces Garden Grove’s Guadalupe Arroyo with both fighter’s making their pro debuts. Admission is $60.

Nobel Ale is one of our favorite Orange County breweries and this month they’re celebrating their 5th Birthday. The Noble Ale Works birthdayversary party will feature over thirty unique draught and cask beers, live music performed by some brewer friends, and some really cool food trucks to enjoy! This blend of jewelry, folk art sculpture, paper whimsy, and a sprinkling of vintage home decor is a one-of-a-kind Southern California event. More than 50 artists have spent the last few months preparing for this show. The displays are just as beautiful as the items they have created and gathered. The show is attended by serious art collectors, crafty types, art lovers, girly girls, decorators, makers, publishers, shop owners and designers as well. Admission is $7.
